Vision

To be the leading Federal Public Service entity in Sarawak in fostering close relations between the Federal and State Governments and facilitating the implementation of Federal development projects.

To strengthen relations between Federal Agencies and the State Government to optimize service delivery.

Background

The Sarawak Federal Secretary Office was first established in 1963 with specific responsibilities and powers. It was repealed on June 1 st ,1982, and later re-established on May 1 st ,1990 following the Cabinet’s decision on November 21 st ,1989.

Walk-in customers will be attended to immediately.

Meeting room and auditorium booking requests will be responded to within
three working days.

Applications for new / replacement access cards or special passes to enter the Kompleks Persekutuan Kuching will be processed within three working days.

Decisions on office space rental applications in non-Federal premises will be issued within three working days after the date of the Sarawak Office Space Committee (JRP) meeting.

Acknowledgement of receipt for Federal quarters occupancy applications will be provided within three working days.

Acknowledgement of receipt for quarter’s damage complaints will be provided within three working days.

All complaints (excluding quarter’s damage complaints) will be acted upon within three working days.

Once completed documentation is received, bill payments and claims will be processed within seven working days.
